In just a couple of hours, I will be onboard a plane headed down south to, not the land of the pines, but New Orleans. I’ve explored most of the eastern part of the United States, but have never been to Louisiana before.
For the next four days, I am going to be exposed to a new environment, food and my first journalism conference, the ACP/CMA convention. To say that I am excited is quite the understatement. I am ready to seize this opportunity and whatever might come my way (including interacting with zombies).
Farewell for now, North Carolina. I’ll be back before you know it.
