On Saturday morning, Tommy Hamzik and I got together and went to see “Understanding Your Administrators” led by Kelly Messinger of Capital University.
I went with the hope that Messinger would get into issues that administrators have with student news organizations, and assumed there was going to be some overlap with the “How to Sue Your School” session from Friday.
But I was thoroughly underwhelmed, as Messinger really turned the session into an discussion group where everyone could air their grievances. It honestly was not very informative, and it was slightly dangerous (Tommy nearly got hit in the eye by thrown Play-D’oh).
