No really… that’s what the session seemed like. This 22 year old guy standing at a podium, on a very official looking stage, preaching to us college students. If we write something every day, set up a blog and build up an audience we too can work for The New York Times, right out of college. Like that is some algorithm into the paper.
He did have some interesting stuff to say. I asked him about keeping up with engagement on social media channels. He said, if your running a company social channel, you have to take the company out of it. Or as much out of it as possible. Sign personal tweets with you initials, re-tweet reports, respond to your fans and always admit when your wrong about something.
